The Gettysburg Railroad,
www.gettysburgrail.com, is located in the heart of Gettysburg.
It sports a new station, just down the road from the original station, the Lincoln Train Station,
www.civilwarinteractive.com/gbpigeons.htm,
where the Lincoln funeral procession train passed.
We stayed at
www.brickhouseinn.comThe Brickhouse Inn. A wonderful place to stay, well worth a detour to Gettysburg, even without the historical import of this town.
And no trip to Gettysburg is complete without a ghost tour www.ghostsofgettysburg.com. And more sources of ghosts; www.gettysburgghosts.net and www.2bridges.com/gettysghosts.htm.
Here is a shot of the Old Railroad Station.
Read about the destruction of the Steam Engine that was used on the Gettysburg rail.
